does any body know how to remove the emblem in the dash ? I want to see if I can mount a tablet holder there .

tried popping it out but it is very tight, I dont want to break it or the faciaI bet it just pops out. It's only a placeholder for the OEM compass. Maybe run a small borescope up behind the dash and see?

I am in the process of removing it now . Have you tried or are you following the workshop manual instructions? I have found that to actually get the climate control panel off you have to remove the centre console back to get to the 2 lower screws which are hidden behind the centre console . and you still cant get to the back of the logo .They could have just used a bolt head on the logo, but no.
