I’m thinking of having the nose and small rear door wrapped in a contrast colour as per the early demo/prototype vehicles. Has anyone done this on their vehicle or for some other reason had experience removing the rear ladder and trim on the small rear door? I would be interested in any tips on dismantling and regarding what bits pop off/screw off/are glued on/break (or are liable to) when removed. Thanks

I can't offer much as I just got into this, I am learningf about the IG, and I'm in the USA, but that sounds like a cool idea. Probably offers up some good front end protection from rock chips, etc as well.

What main color and what wrap color are you considering.

I'm considering rear door in red, as was originally offered. No knowledge to share... but surely not that hard? Was planning just to hand it over to someone that specialises.

The paint code/ formula for Tunic Red would help. Or Emergency Orange. It'd be nice to be correct ...

In the high heat environment in north Texas I was strongly advised to not wrap, unless it is planned for every couple of years. The heat breaks it down, and I have seen It. I had looked into wrapping my Power Wagon tailgate like the 2017 SEMA and backed off due to that. Just wanted to advise for what it is worth.

I had in mind a deep red (same colour as red of the rear lights) - but haven’t actually done anything very meaningful to advance this as yet

Same colors I was considering but instead of wrapping will use paint. Just have to get a great paint guy to get it done. Maybe get it painted in Defender Red just for the heck of it..

I saw a black/DG IG on the M1 which had an orange left side read door behind the black ladder - didn’t get that close at the M 1 was snarled up and we were separated by quite a few cars but from a distance looked distinctive - could not see if there was other details picked out on the front
