Connecting a compressor to battery with clips??

  • Go to the OFFROAD Menu
  • Select Temperatures - or press the 2nd bar (out of 5) along the upper right of the screen.
  • Confirm that your tire pressures are “cold” enough (below 75°F / 24°C)
  • Press the small 3 bars in the upper left of the off-road menu display
  • Press SET RCP - you will see a confirmation.
RESET Tire Pressure Warning after correction (adding air): You will be warned if your pressure is more than 4psi off of the set pressure. Adding air and using this reset procedure should clear the warning.Go to the Settings Menu - Vehicle Functions - Vehicle Information - Tyre Pressure - Reset
OK, so that seemed to work, however when the dealer took in for the service they rotated the tires, fronts are backs and backs are front. I know this because I intentionall have rears at 49 (per placard inside door) and fronts at 43. Any solution other than rotaing back to the way they were?

OK, once I evened them up the pressures (all 4) it doesn't really matter, but it is stupid as now I have to remember back is fron and front is back, or just ignore the TPMS unless it indicates something outside the 4+/- lb safe variation.

I think this is the only solution

Off thread sorry, but are those pressures PSI?? And unloaded?

How does it drive? I find anything over 40 and it drives skittishly - I’ll run mine around 37F+R and it’s sweet.

And that reminds me, my compressor just has bulldog clips so I’ll need to sort some kind of twin set up - clips and anderson plug, so I can use it off the rear anderson plug I had installed.
