Complaining about issues with IG? - it’s not just Ineos…..

After Jeep sold less than 2,000 vehicles, across all models, in Australia last year it looks like they are closing the doors.
70 years they have been sold in Australia and finally the absolute crap vehicles are leaving.
Outsold by Ineos last year.
"Outsold by Ineos last year."

Not a phrase I expected to read anytime soon. And certainly not about Jeep, (although the only Jeep I have ever wanted to own is probably a WW2 one and probably Ford).

Well I am very happy I have an Ineos, not a Jeep.

I find this shocking. In America they are everywhere. There’s one on every street, if not two or three.

I had a good look at the 300 at one stage, Prado platform and running gear, so no wonder 200 Series hold and increased in value, Landrover tragic so bought the Ineos, if not a Patrol would be in the driveway.

Jeep and in fact most American manufactured vehicles have struggled to sell in Australia for many years due to very poor build quality, constant recalls or high prices due to need to convert from LHD to RHD.
Many European brands have had the same problem.
Japanese vehicles killed them and then Korean buried them.
I wanted a Wrangler for a fair while but they were rubbish if unmodified, particularly on road over long distances.

Jeep is as American these days as a Hyundai. Jeep-Dodge to Fiat (ahhh that day a certain someone sold out the American taxpayer👍, blessed be his name…) then to Stellantis. At least I think that’s how I remember it.🧐
Is the Ford Bronco alive down under?

Not from Ford.
Small volume importers bring some in and convert them to right hand drive.
They cost about $150,000 so ………….
I haven’t seen one on the road.

Oh goddddddddd the footrest… I recall someone complaining the their wife didn’t like the footrest……….in a left hand drive vehicle
Oh my godddddddddddd the sterringggg acts like a recirculating ball steering…. Why don’t they use standard rack & pinion?/////
Oh my gollyyyyy gee ……I like to sit really low and drive like an Indian taxi driver on a beaded seat cover…….
Oh my god…. I have back problems that are exclusive to me……I wish they had designed a seat for my problems
Oh my golly geeeeee…. I live in the most important market in the world………why don’t they have a cup holder for my absolute shit coffee???????
Check this out…. EVERYBODYS back is exclusive to them.. that’s why every manufacturer uses an adjustable seat.

Not all of us are as blessed as you to be shaped like an adipose tissue marshmallow whose blubber molds to any surface curvature like silly puddy.

All in jest of course. 😂

I have an exceptionally strong core.
I watched a yoga video once on YouTube

I'm still in the considering phase. I really love the Ineos ethos, but the HVAC and CV boot difficulties give me pause. Where I am, it's 110° plus in the summers and gets down to the high 20° in the winters. I'm old. I hate the hot and I hate the cold. I need my seat heater and air con lol. It would drive me nuts to have wonky hvac. So I'm sitting on the sidelines waiting to see if Ineos gets these these things sorted out. I still may go look at an older generation Mercedes G wagon in the meantime. Yeah, they're expensive to work on, but at least their HVAC systems work and parts and service are readily available. I really hope Ineos gets their act together soon!
