2am and it’s 27.8 degrees Celsius (82F) inside and slightly cooler but higher humidity outside
Normally we would have all the windows open but has been a bit of rain.
Bedroom windows all open catching the sea breeze

A pair of goanna have decided to have a bit of romance by mths rear stairs to my house.
They are both only young with the male about 1200mm or 4foot
Soon we will have the pitter patter of little clawed feet

After a while it turned out the Arvid he bought was actually a Freya!

Hot as hell up in north Queensland. Hotter even than Britney Spears in the 90s.

28 degrees overnight. 30 degrees in the daytime. Near 100% humidity. And random thunderstorms too. Not even wet season starting yet.
