This sort of nonsense happens everywhere. A few years back my brother who was on crutches at the time following a knee operation, was approached by two young thugs who pulled alongside on their bike, outside a supermarket, they tried to pull his small shopping bag off him. Wrong man to do that to! ex Royal Marine and pretty handy
. The one still on the bike was shoved so hard he split his head on the pavement and the other was grabbed by the shirt after my brother had dropped his crutches and head butted across the bridge of the nose, plastering his nose across his face. They left the scene nursing their wounds whilst a passing motorist stoped to help my brother out of the hedge. They were the sort of ruffians that probably had another beating by their parents when they got home for not having any stolen goods to deliver.
