Microwave is an '86. The light doesn't work and I repaired the tray with JB weld. Other than that, it heats food! as it should

We had a fridge like that from the 1950s. It belonged to my Dad's Aunt. She died and it went into our garage and lasted something like 60 years in total.

I just find it amusing on how Americans see their society and culture and how most of the rest of the world sees them , vastly different in the most part.

I just find it amusing on how Americans see their society and culture and how most of the rest of the world sees them , vastly different in the most part.

I was stirring some people up on a Facebook page, just for fun.
Without getting into politics they couldn't understand that I had not voted for a certain person.

After explaining several times that I lived in Australia, so even though I would not have voted for the dumbarse anyway, I couldn't as I live in a different country.
After copping much abuse for voting for the other option, and again explaining that I live in a different country so didn't vote for either, I was told that I am clearly a communist, gay, pedophile.

I was supported by a few people who said the first amendment protected my right to say whatever I wanted, so leave me alone.

I tried to explain that the 1st Amendment doesn't apply to me because I am Australian and live in Australia.
Apparently it applies to everyone in the world, including me.

The most popular response, with 159 likes and climbing, is that I just have to suck it up, as he is my president for the next 3 years if I like it or not.
Nope, still an Australian, living in Australia.

Quite a few asked why I was even commenting on an American post, so I explained that it was posted on a page that starts with www.
It was explained to me that the interweb is American and foreigners shouldn't use it.

Honestly I could actually feel my IQ falling and wondered if I would have to get rid of all my shoes that use laces.

For our overseas viewers, if someone in Australia refers to "doing the loop" in their Grenadier this is what they are referring to.
It's a bit over 9,000 miles.
I was recently talking with a tourist that was here for a month "doing the loop"
That would be an average of 500 kms a day mathematically but in reality........................................

This just reinforces my thinking and my previous post, I don’t do crapbook for this very reason, to many stupid people in the world and my tolerance for stupid has never been high but as I get older it’s become none existent
