Chuckle in Your Day! (AKA the joke thread)

A nice way to finish the week at 3 pm on a Friday afternoon.
Heard a bit of noise outside my office window.
First saw the two about 15 metres away down on the flat and then noticed the third one had popped it's head up about 5 metres away.
They are starting to come into the yard to eat the grass as the winter sets in and feed gets scarce.

do the government cull Roos?

Thanks NQ94. We have a white tail deer issue in our neighborhood. The township issues special permits to archers, who alertly wait in tree stands. I don't know whether they get to keep the deer if they are successful - at one point I think they were donated to the prison system. Everyone wins!

I cannot imagine the deer are very impressed!

I tried tree stand hunting once and didn’t like it.
I prefer walking/stalking through the forest/bush so there is at least some exercise and skill involved.
I don’t do either anymore though.

We have 3 large mobs within a couple of kms of us that hang out in the neighbourhood.
Probably 50 or more in each group.
I've got a mob of 7 that would quickly destroy the garden I've fenced them out of. I nearly gave up on the simple pleasures of growing flowers and non flammable plants near the house.
They stare at me most malevolently each evening .
I'd eat them if the law allowed.

I plan on a veggie and herb garden but it will need to be in a solid green house to protect it from the kangaroos, galahs, cockatoos, corellas, lizards, etc etc etc
