Looks good. I also wanted to always carry some decent car supplies but didn’t want to tempt thieves and fate. I did a mock up and realized what I wanted to carry (recovery boards, first aid bag, recovery bag of rope, snatch, straps, tree saver, shackles, small air compressor, tool kit, bag of ratches straps) could all fit low below the top of the wheel wells. The cover mock up supports proved I didn’t need a pull-out draw as I could reach everything with my arm, even with the boot fully packed. I used loop carpet for the covering and now I can use Velcro cargo management blocks. And when I’m driving around town my boot looks empty but I’m conceal carrying the items that makes a vehicle handy. Who wants to roll up to a situation in a capable rig and say ‘Oh – too bad my recovery rope is in the garage….’. And on range days the recover boards come out and the rifle bag goes in and no one’s the wiser.
