Battery charging

My silly solution whenever I plug the car in I put one of these on my shifter as a reminder not to drive off. That said the magnetic hookup I installed minimizes any potential damage but I'd still rather avoid it.

Magnetic hook up? Can you provide more details please.

I have used a similar magnetic charging connector for a while: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CV3DLFRX?tag=globalgrena0b-20

I’ve only used a charger once on my dual-battery Gren, via the under-hood charge points. It brought the indicated SoC up to 98% overnight. Driving the next day hit 100%. But I don’t drive it every day so it tends to settle around 88-92%.

I recently installed a 200W solar panel that will be my primary method of re-charge which should see me perpetually in the 90+%. Only downside is solar doesn’t charge in my garage.
