Hey guys. I ordered my Grenadier in mid February so before Tariffs. I jotted down all of the prices one day just after the prices changed on the Grenadier configurator. My Grenadier is here but it seems to be a couple thousand dollars more than what I had written down. Does anyone know the base price for a base grenadier from early 2025? I think I know but just want some confirmation before I address the dealer on this point. They already tried to pass on the post tariff pricing but I said no thanks.

And yes, I googled it but it was lower than what was on the configurator.

Anyone have a window sticker with the base listed?

Thanks,

Rod

Just for the record, the base price of a base Grenadier in 2024 was $71,500. Start of 2025, before tariffs was $75,100. After tariffs is now $78,900.

Tariffs are applied when the item reaches the country and clears customs.
Why shouldn't they pass it on to the consumer/buyer.
The importers cost has gone up from a locally applied government charge.

Did you factor in Dealer / Agency fees and or dealer addded items not specified on the configurator. My build did not account for a desler fee of $1600, side steps and I think floor mats.

Of course the dealer is going to mark it up and get his piece of the pie. That is not the issue here at all. My issue was that the base price was increased after I put money down on my car. Then even more was added after the tariffs when the CEO of Ineos said they would honor prices before a certain date. April 4th if I recall. My build was put in well before that date. My dealer called and said my car was in port and should be about a month away. Then I asked for total cost so I could look at financing options. That is when I was given post tariff pricing of $91K. Said no way. Then given a price around $89K. Said no way and then had to fight to get the price I agreed to at just below $86K. Dealer finally found pre tariff base price and it was significantly lower than what I was being told. That is not out the door price which is completely different.

I'm not pointing figures at this or any other dealership or marque, but they're all greedy, shady bastards who take the fun out of buying one's dream vehicle.

Rocket - IMO cancel and buy one from CA..... Still tons out here (2024s) that are selling low 70's (some even listed new 66k +/-)
