Another UK dealer gone.

Had excellent service from Denton’s Skipton. The lads ensured servicing, warranty work and all service updates were completed all in one day. Dropped off in the morning and spent the whole day in Skipton centre, sightseeing, eating and drinking. Took me nearly 2 hours to get home in traffic. Easy for many but I understand the frustration if further away or had to go back due to no parts. Cars perfect now!!!

Any service updates worth sharing? Software?

Yes, had new engine cover (diesel) and software update. Software ends in 2940 but I was told this is the for the head unit only. Modules may have been updated too. Changes I’ve noticed, unlock car, head unit does not turn on until you open car door and wait 10 seconds. Turning ON the key instantly boots up infotainment screen so I don’t need to half turn key anymore. (Meaning the auto in HVAC works as it should). Only negative I’m not sure about is the reverse camera picture has gotten smaller I think!! 🤔

That is also from that car magazine article....if that is the case, why a digital screen and not traditional dial gauges etc.? They are going into the opposite direction but use touchscreen...?

It is the one of the main things I wish they hadn't done but the screen we have is much smaller than anything else nowadays and I have found it can cover it easily when on dark roads and don't need to know my speed, or anything else

The modern world is full of compromises. We could walk to work and carry food home from the supermarket. But we don't :)
I'm not a great fan of touchscreens , but luckily I only rarely have to use the one in the Grenadier.
Maybe 6 times a week.

Yes...that's why I try to keep my old cars as long as possible. I hope they last longer than me, so I can enjoy them for the rest of my life....

Without wishing to state the obvious - have you tried Grange?
My last years expérience was a complete lack of any communication whilst they carried out some jobs, when it might be ready etc. No return calls even when promised.

This year three promised call backs. Nothing yet.

The picture of your reversing screen matches the MY23 version. The MY24 is a bit bigger (not much) as it goes vertically to the top bar and bottom bar.

As long as ee can hose out the floor in case of any unplanned "accidents" we're going to be OK 😁

Looking at the SMMT statistics the YTD sales fall about 20% in 2025 compared to the same time frame 2024 in the UK.

The number of sales is very small so any drop will be a large percentage, ultimately though, they do need them to be increasing. The problem in UK currently is there are only penalties for spending on expensive vehicles (if you call above 40k expensive nowadays). The UK seems to be in a depressed state and we have a government that intends to tax anything and everything, except their own freebies. Wealthy people who would purchase vehicles like this for their estates are selling up and leaving the country.
I'm not trying to be political with this, it is just what is happening over here.

Honestly the way I look at it is that most of the people who wanted a Grenadier bought one already. I suspect we are mostly the type to keep the cars a long time rather than replace every 2-3 years so that will be hurting Ineos sales too.

I can’t help but think they need to offer some more variety. The double cab pickup was doomed from the start in the UK because of the load capacity and now the change in BIK rules has screwed those anyway.

A two door SWB commercial - like an old 90 van would, I’m sure, sell very well.

I might buy one for my wife!

Until then Maybe the new panda 4x4 might do

Just sold the wife's 2019 Panda 4x4 twin air, 25,000 miles, for a Subaru Crostrek, which we are picking up tomorrow. This will be her last car too.
Panda 4x4s are cool though and we are sad to see it go but we are reducing the number of cars we have ready to retire, early.
Anyone want a 2 owner 48,000 Cayman 987.2 full porsche service history with porsche oil and filter change between service. Wife has owned since Dec 2012, porsche garage was first owner. She is also selling her Fiat 850 spider, series 1, owned 14 years.
We are really sad and struggling to let go. Therefore there is no chance of me swapping my Grenadier for anything else.
