An Autoblog comparison between the Grenadier and the Lexus GX

Well, a working HVAC, stellar Lexus customer service, and a history of reliability makes the Lexus a true competitor. You have to want the old school mechanicals and be willing to put up with the wonky HVAC to want the Grenny. I love the concept of the Grenny but I'm not convinced I can live with something that doesn't have anything less than an excellent HVAC system. We take long road trips and our home base gets into the mid-20° during the winters and 110°+ during the summers.

My grenadier excels at getting really hot and really cold so should be fine for your winters and summers. It’s the in between it struggles with.

I was thinking the exact same thing. The middle ground is doable but takes some fiddling as you slowly notice yourself getting hot or cold. Its an "active" driving experience.

I agree the Lexus is the better 4x4, particularly for a daily driver. But without a doubt, the Grenadier community will always be a stronger community, and we will have more fun!
