270 degree Foxwing awning with NO roof rack????

What clamping mount is that attached to the silver handlebar tubes? I am trying to see how these might compare to this Four Treks mount or this one from Black Sheep?
Also, does anyone know the diameter of the Grenadier tube so I can order the correct size? Answer = 25mm

Ha those usa made fj mounts were the initial inspiration for me to try find a local solution in Australia, also for cost and postage reasons.

You might have missed it in the large post….
This was what worked for me

The tie down rail is 25mm in diameter but after a quick test fit in store the 26 and even 28mm u bolts didn’t quite fit into the stow it bracket. I then found the solution in the form of Taskmaster 51 x 28.4mm 316 Stainless Steel U Bolt. Yes the 0.4mm extra made all the difference.

Remember in my case i was using a u bolt to match a specific bracket. If a full circle then 25mm (1”) is a good starting point to test

I’ve got the Rhino Rack Batwing 270 awning mounted directly to the load bars using the Rhino Rack Stow-It brackets and QD awning bracket. I had this passenger side awning from my last rig — if I bought one again, it would be driver’s side for the Grenadier. The Stow-It mount is attached to the load bars using 2” length x 1 1/8” ID U-bolts from Home Depot.

This a good solution for mounting the awning without the roof rack, but it’s pretty low. The doors will just barely touch the awning bag when stowed.
