Thread 'Inner Door handle - small rear door'
Just wanted to show you this little upgrade i just installed. Makes closing the door from the inside way easier… Alu handle for 4€… some bolt in nuts and srews. Strong enough even the bolts just sit in the plastic cover. What do you think? What are your solutions to this?
Thread 'Stains of matte black trim?'
Finally got my new Gren last night - love it so far - but I noticed this morning that I have what looks to be some white stains on the trim underneath the doors. The car was detailed by dealer before they delivered…almost looks like something that leaks down from the door hatches or something above. I haven’t tried removing it myself yet besides using some water and rag since I’m out of town. Just curious if this is pretty normal or what is recommended to clean it off. I’m pretty sure any...
Has anyone removed the center console storage bin? I want to run cabling from my trailer brake controller to the area just behind the parking brake handle (RHD vehicle). All suggestions welcome! Steve
Since most people should be familiar with us by now (keyword: plug and play sound system), we've finally managed to take a closer look at the Grenadier and its full sound insulation, eliminating rattling and creaking noises, etc. Vehicles with Safari windows, in particular, have a lot of catching up to do in this area. In short, with extensive full sound insulation, the Grenadier's ride comfort can be significantly improved! Just check out our video about it. ;-) I'm looking forward to your...
Thread 'Center of headline cable pull?'
Has anyone pulled a cable down the middle of the headline from the switch panel to the door latch area? I would really like to run the cable down the middle for the rear Wolfbox camera and not around the side. I thought it would be a straight pass through but there seems to be obstructions... Feedback appreciated.
Hello, I know that the Grenadier even was planned for Expedition purpose! But why is there no word in the manual, that the body of the trucks keeps a lot of water in case of an emergency? No, I'm kidding! During preparation for underbody coating we found water, a lot of water in the body on the right hand after pulling the drain plug! Did anybody have the same issue so far? And did somebody find out where the water comes from? The video is already on the way to Ineos... Regards...
Just curious if anyone has installed this on their own, my dealer is telling me it's a huge pain and they recommend they install.... I can't imagine it being that bad?! Also they said I need to pick it up in a truck because it's on a big pallet and too big for the grenadier haha
So, Seeing Overland Gear guy has a system to mount a starlink mini inside the safari window. https://overlandgearguy.com/products/starlink-safari-window-mount-bag?_pos=2&_sid=c65aea80d&_ss=r Would seem to be pretty slick solution to power this off INT1 and run the power up inside the A pillar/roof/window trim for a tucked away switched installation. Before I embark on this, has anyone tried this yet? Max power draw is 5-6 amps, so should work just fine, and gives a protected (hard to...
Thread 'Quick modification to Agile Fire Extinguisher Bracket to fit Element Fire Stick'
Thought I’d share a quick modification to the Agile Offroad Fire Extinguisher Bracket Kit to fit the Element Fire Stick for a discreet install under the Drivers seat. The Agile bracket did all the heavy lifting but for a more custom fit I drilled a couple of extra holes to raise the bracket slightly to allow clearance for the Element Stick so it would tuck neatly into the molded area of the floor under the seat. I did cut a little off of the length of the bracket that sticks forward to...
Thread 'Grenadier USA Oversized Cupholder and Machined Console'
Frickin Awesome Stuff! Super high Quality, The metal "guards" match the ones from the factory on the overhead and main panel. Just looks and functions much better then the factory. Easy Install. Could not be more happy https://grenadierusa.com/products/oversized-cupholder Zoom in and you can see the Grenadier USA button pusher also, https://grenadierusa.com/products/button-pusher With the new software update (no OSW warning) and the button pusher I dont drive angry @GrenadierUSA
Forgive me if this is not allowed but I spied these on ebay tonight and at $300 obo these are a deal. https://ebay.us/m/suaO0x
The other day, I happened to notice the key designation for the lockable box in the center console. It begins with 'CH'. If you have this box, you can search the embossed designation online. Then you'll find that this key is a standard key for suitcases, desk drawers, filing cabinets, mailboxes, and all sorts of other applications. 🤔 I don't mean the key type. No, I mean this specific key, with exactly this profile. The INEOS extra equipment for the lockable box in the center console...
I get the feeling I already know the answer to this, but I'd like to see if there is any possibility of an out. My Wife likes to sit in the car with the dog when we're out and about, and I make a quick stop for coffee or something. The issue is that she also likes to lock herself in for security. Is it possible for her to lock herself in when I step out with the keys? It seems a bit odd on the Grenadier. There isn't a lock on the passenger door (as stated on other threads). Is this...
Anyone else have an oddly raised seam on their steering wheel? I've been in a few loaners over the past couple of weeks and none of them have this issue. On my standard steering wheel the seam at 10:00 is raised, there's a noticeable bump like the inside seam wasn't folded flat or something. 2:00, 4:00 and 8:00 seams are perfectly flat. Debating going through the brain damage of a warranty replacement but wondering if most steering wheels are a bit off here and there.
Thread 'My Grenadier journey is over. Does anyone want my bespoke built drawer pack? NOW SOLD'
I bought into the concept and vision of the Grenadier from the outset and took delivery in first week of May '23. I really wanted this to work, but after thinking about my conversation last week as part of the early adopter customer satisfaction survey, it struck me that the issues I had had since the start, in the main, I was still dealing with them. Passenger footwell gets wet despite being "fixed" many times, HVAC has a mind of its own, battery discharges itself randomly (but dealer has...
Thread 'Center Console Pouches'
My wife stitched up some custom pouches to organize the center console of our 2024 Grenadier (“Graham”), and I think they turned out amazing. Super handy, everything stays put, and it makes the space so much more functional. Just wanted to share in case anyone else is looking for a better way to tame that deep console pit!
Thread 'Rear cargo shelf gear can cut headliner'
If you have a rear cargo shelf secured to the upper section of your boot/trunk, make sure you don't have any gear that in contact with your headliner. I had a collapsible shovel in a bag that, over time, rubbed a hole in the headliner.
Hi Folks Had my Grenadier for just over a week now and I love it. I have tried to remove the cup holders but after removing the 4 screws, it doesn’t shift. Any tips please? My Grenadier is the commercial spec with no centre armrest. I would like to fit one or change the standard box out, again any tips would be greatly appreciated. Thanks 😊
Thread 'Windscreen Sun Shade?'
Anyone have a good quality option for windscreen sun shade? I'm talking something hard backed that folds - not the floppy foil shades they sell at beach stores. I've always bought Covercraft sun shades for every vehicle I've owned, however they do not have one out yet for the Grenadier. There is a link to "request" they make a pattern for one, if anyone feels so inclined.
When I picked up my station wagon, the salesman mentioned, "Here are the fixings to move the rear seats back if you wish." How can I do this?
