This thread is for WOLFBOX G900 Pro firmware update. I'll upload the file or put the link for you to download the new firmware.

Please be aware: Updating the firmware is not necessary as long as the unit works fine.

The new firmware version number is 11.241113.0.0.30-A0, the main changes of this version are as follows:

1. Reduce the probability of voice-activated false triggering;
2. Solve the issue that after setting the speed unit as KM/H in APP, the speed unit in the video watermark is displayed as MPH;
3. Modify the problem of Italian and Japanese font;
4. Save the configuration after the angle adjustment of the rear cam in preview interface;
5. Update the intelligent voice library.

Upgrade instructions:

1. Copy the firmware file to the root directory of the SD card (the outermost).
2. Insert SD card into the dash cam, then it recognizes the firmware and it will have an prompt, click to confirm, start upgrading.
3. After the upgrade progress bar is completed, the dash cam will restart and turn on automatically, which means the upgrade is completed.

Note:

1. Copying the firmware to the card separately to upgrade only for a single dash cam to update. The file will be automatically deleted after the completion of the firmware upgrade.

I just tried to update from 20241015 -> 20241113 firmware. Following the instructions results in the SD card not being readable on Mac OS, hence unable to copy the new firmware to SD card. Has any other Mac OS user run into this quandry?

I downloaded the .rar file onto my iCloud Drive from my iPad. I have the Apple SD card reader that I will plug into the iPad and transfer the .rar file to the SD card. Hopefully that will work.

@WolfBox : I tried that exact sequence, but I'll do it again to make sure I didn't miss anything. When I formatted to MS DOS (FAT) on the Mac and put in the Wolfbox, it said the card was unreadable and needed to be formatted. That aligns with the FB posting. I was pretty I then tried it again on my Mac. Once it had been formatted on the Wolfbox I shutdown the Wolfbox and moved the card back to the Mac. It was still unreadable. I'll report my status on the second attempt tomorrow. My Ineos and I are currently in different locations.

I’ve been running the beta firmware dated Jan 2025. The rear camera is so much better and the colors are no longer washed out. It is also finally useable at night. I still wish i could find tune the hue, exposure etc but the upcoming update should be a massive leap forward.

From what i remember, i had to format the card on the Mac and then format it again on the mirror. It started working on both after that.

Is the firmware region specific? I seem to recall from different threads that the firmware is different across the regions.

Following the FB thread mentioned, which I had done previously, worked this time. It did take two iterations of, format on Mac -> Format on Wolfbox, before the Mac would recognize the SD card. After that it was trivial. Excited to see the changes in the beta firmware you are running! Any timeframe for it move from beta to final?

If that didn't work out, you can send an email to service@wolfbox.com asking for help. Maybe the card is to blame. The warranty covers it, we'll send you a new one and try it out.

I notice that the UK website has updated to the same filename this time. So, that perhaps answers that earlier question about the firmware being global or region specific.
