Has anyone mounted the Wolfbox front bumper camera in a location OTHER THAN the front grill? Been thinking if there’s a spot under the vehicle that can give the user a view of the tires that isn’t susceptible to being ripped off. Maybe above the cross member beneath the transmission pan? Any ideas on best path for wiring?

There are quite a few plugs in the floor pans that you could route the wiring through. Pull up the floor covering or there is also a few under the back seat.

I mounted mine below the bumper. I 3D printed a bracket..

More details please. Are you pleased with it? How’s the view from that location? Did you compare it to the grill location? I still need to install my front but I’m trying to avoid the usual place.
Yes very pleased with it! I turned on the gridlines in the menu to have a point of reference when viewing, the closest line equivalent to 5ft. Sorry I cant compare to grill view, since I purposely avoided it. I wanted out of the way and least noticeable as possible.

Thank you. I may try this then. I’m horrible at printing stuff and think I can only do PLA.

I’ve also been thinking about alternative ways to use the front camera. One idea would be to use it as an underbody camera. Which perspective would make sense? Another option would be to mount it on the roof, providing a bird’s-eye view of the rear tow hitch. Could it be mounted on the ladder?
