In the various ways I’ve disassembled my Grenadier I’ve generally been pleased with their wire routing and craftsmanship. However this spot looks ripe to eventually cause some issues. It’s the same way on both sides of the car behind the side trim panel. It’s easily removable with a trim tool, as it’s not held in with screws.
In the pictures I’ve added two pieces of foam as an anti-chafe but the top spot in particular the metal frame is pointed and curved inward and the wire loom was pressing into it before I adjusted and added the foam.
Might be a good preventative maintenance move for others, especially anyone who jostles the car on trails.
