Wheel Arch Replacement Inquiry

Hello, I’m planning to remove the factory-installed wide wheel arches and replace them with the Chelsea Truck 15mm Wheel Arches. Does anyone know the proper way to remove and install them, or have any tips or things I should be careful about?

This manual is very easy to use. Sometimes it’s just the terminology of each individual part is sometimes unfamiliar to me , so not always sure what to look up.

According to point 4 of the workshop manual, you should remove the wheel arches by pulling them down off the 7 clips (dowels). That's the trick to this job. You have to force the wheel arches off. Usually nothing gets damaged this way, but it can happen that several of the dowels get stuck in the body. The best way to get them out is to press a 6 mm ring spanner on them from behind to unlock them. To refit them, you simply put the dowels back into the wheel arches and, with a little force, you can press them back onto the fender.
