Yes l reckon it needs larger wheels for sure, but there must be a reason why it doesn't have them.

l don't know anything about those trucks, rarely seen in the UK

Lots of travel on the suspension, It'll pull 20,000lbs and when I put a skid steer on it... a 6 ton skid steer on a 3 ton trailer on a dirt road it needs all the travel I can get.

The fenders and cabs get used on trucks with actual truck wheel options, so they are larger, and in 1 ton the truck tires and gearing are a smaller OD than mud tires. Work trucks that are optioned for max payload don’t come with MTs.
