What did you do with your Grenadier today?

Installed a rear ladder with Jerry can holder.
Prototype that a manufacturer is considering bringing to market. Stainless steel and powder coating.

Super nice!

Bit of a boring subject but yesterday I put a locking cap on the QM.
My cab chassis didn't come with a locking cap so after the dealer couldn't find one, I did.
Suits BMW/Merc/Landrover 🤷‍♂️

So I know i'm not the only one to do this...

But makes a hell of a difference - how well it will stick I dont know :)

This is a soft grip tape from Bunnings (Australia for all you non aussies) 25mm (1") wide and around 10aud per roll. Very sticky - not too soft but not gonna rip your skin off either! Rounded ends courtesy of a 1 Aussie dollarbucks coin..

Wow, didn't realise that the QM doesn't have a locking fuel cap.

I did this, keep an eye on it in Summer, the glue went soft on mine and came off when trodden on in the heat.

Yeah that's kinda what I'm expecting tbh... It does say for outdoors but not sure if it means Aussie outdoors in WA... It will look fine over the winter though and I have about 4m left to go at 😅

not sure if it was answered, but does this setup run the fridge off of the 12v cigarette lighter port in the back? Is there any way to run a fridge off of one of the AUX switches/INT switches?
im not sure if the better option would be to charge a power station off of one of the aux switches and then passthrough charge a fridge, or just run the fridge off the cigarette lighter while driving and switch to power station once parked. (then I guess the question is how/when would I charge the power station if fridge is using cigarette port). Is there an option im missing here
?
I have a separate switch and 12v installed that routes through mppt controller to:
Utilize solar as a primary
Allow mppt controller to regulate a shutdown if the fridge settings fail to shutdown upon low voltage
Dedicated port that can remain on all the time
