It will be towed to the dealership. Did you also have the 2.5" springs installed?I wouldn’t want to be driving that. Get it fixed before driving anymore. If it fails completely as mine did whilst driving other damage can occur whilst it’s flailing around. Mine broke the oil cooler pipes for the gearbox and I spilled all the gearbox oil out onto the road. The consequences of this could cause a catastrophic accident if at speed.
Roadworks speed camera?
No modifications to my Grenadier so far.It will be towed to the dealership. Did you also have the 2.5" springs installed?
Can you post a pic sometime with the bike mounted? Interesting use of the ladder!![]()
just resting for short trips... but for longer ones I'll just pass a bungee through the frame.Sweet! I can't tell from the pic, but is the rear wheel secured, or just resting against the bumper? I like the idea!
Ouch, why was it flat bedded?Towed to the dealership—just in time for the Christmas parade, and maybe for New Year too.

When I first arrived in Tasmania back in 1987 I drove off the boat in Devonport and there was a local council carpark.Could have saved yourself $228 if you'd done that in Tasmania![]()
I got done 3 months ago for 69 in a 60 zone.I got my first speeding ticket in the Grenadier today. Well, it was 2 months ago but received it today.
67km/hr in a 60km/hr zone in the middle of nowhere, and not in a built up area. $330.
The mind boggles.
They only want the best for us, sorry, from us - our money. When I first arrived in Tasmania back in 1987 I drove off the boat in Devonport and there was a local council carpark.
At the entrance there was an old cast iron box that said parking tickets 5 cents for 3 hours.
Having just come down from Sydney where it was $2 for an hour I thought it was just a tourist gimmick and didn't pay it.
When I returned I had a parking ticket...........$3

I remembered seeing the camera on the side of the road and checked my speed as I was sure it was a 70 kmh zone.
I went back after I got the fine and picture in the mail.
Sure enough it was a 70 kmh zone.
I had the fine reversed.
They said the camera had been set up incorrectly.
How many people just paid it I wonder.
We mainly use etags that are stuck on the windscreen to pay tollsI had my vehicle shipped on a flatbed trailer from the dealer... it passed through various States with automated toll cameras. I only am conscious of this because a few weeks later, I started to get toll violations in the mail, one of which was $82.00. I cannot tell you how many hours of my life were lost to letters and phone calls to prove the obvious: the truck and trailer paid the tolls; my license plate, sitting stationary, should not have to. All were eventually cancelled. In hindsight, I might well have just paid them.
Speeding tickets in the USA are different, as they directly affect insurance rates. I can appreciate your motivation to show that you were falsely accused, regardless!
