Onboard air system completed this week. I used my trusty almost 10 year old Viair 400PA RV pump mounted in the factory auxiliary battery location with some simple brackets. I wired it using a relay switched by the overhead INT 2 switch. I ran the hose under the right rear interior panel and added a stainless bulkhead fitting to the removable cover. Combined with the Morrflate 4 tire inflation system the setup works great.

Sometimes you need a larger antenna… here is how to remember to remove it BEFORE pulling into the garage 👍

I was in the Donnersberg area (Palatinate) and saw this nice viaduct. It's not roman but the remains of an 1872 railroad bridge.
Nearby is one of a few remaining villages in Germany with a ford through a very small brook. Unfortunately i forgot to take a picture when passing the ford.

Schön!!! I remember also the beautiful gate in Trier when we drove there from Kaiserslautern. One of my favorite German towns is Bern-Kastel Kues. So many beautiful places in Germany!

So I finally got my IG two weeks ago and I'm just trying to install some accessories and options. Almost done but here's my list...
1. Running Boards from Urban Automotive - I installed it. Took about 20 minutes
2. Picnic Table from dealership - I installed it. About 10 minutes
3. Checker Plates from dealership - dealer installed.
4. Exterior Ceramic Coating and Front Windows Tint

Still waiting for...
1. Roof Rack from Leitner - I will install it.
2. Spare Wheel Reverse Mount Kit from Agile Offroad. I will install it.

Almost there! Then I will start driving to nice places in SoCal on the weekends!!!

How far north were you? The wife saw it about 12.30am 12 miles north of Lockerbie but I bet it wasn't as good as that image
We are in Cheshire, this was taken from behind Frodsham looking between Liverpool & Manchester. We were starting to see a green glow through the phone camera. At its height we could see the colours with naked eye and when you couldn't see colours there were white misty streaks that the camera picked up. We gave up at midnight when it was fading. Spoke to a bloke as we drove away who said he had paid for a trip previously to Iceland to see them and it wasn't as good as this. I found an app that told us our chances of seeing and it shows where it will be visible. I think you may have a chance again tonight. We got absolutely loads of pics and videos

I installed my Bison shelf. Relatively straightforward but my 22mm holes are a bit rough. Thankfully it’s mostly covered up.

I have a similar trick to remember that I opened my Safari window, and that I should absolutely close it if I don't want to have a wet pant the next morining:

What I did do today, was testing the behavior of batteries, new fridge an solar panel.
Because I will go to Romania in June during some weeks, probably Carpathian mountains.

I have installed a CTEK D250SE in my car and do "input" the current through my modified roof connector.

I got this week a new fridge: Vevor 15l, shipped from CZECH REPUBLIC but, of course Chinese: cut-off voltage, Bluetooth monitoring with cell phone, freezes to about -18°C, etc. About 125 €.
I bought some time ago a Looki 150W solar panel, bought in Holland, but didn't find where it mas "made". About 150€.

Conclusion:
  • main battery fluctuated between 12.3V and 12.6 V
  • auxiliary battery between 12.8 V and 13.3 V (charging) with a peak of 13.44V
  • and I had 4 fresh beers around 18h, I drunk two of them. :) 🍻
