What did you do with your Grenadier today?

Decided to get stuck today over in Adams, Massachusetts. More snow left than I thought. Went right through an ice shelf and bottomed out on the frame. Took a few minutes, winch and boards to pull myself back up. Bonus, we saw a "meep" bird as my wife says(american woodcock). Made the family's day seeing it dance around

All the colors are great. It's just silver that is the best.
:)
I think the drive shaft issue is way overblown unless you have big lifts and drive fast across the desert. I want to lift mine with the MetalCloak 2.5" and have been following everything here and Facebook. I have been using Claude AI to monitor and analyze.
Is the issue real? - Yes
If it happens to me is it bad? - Yes
Will I drive across the desert at 80mph for hours? - Yes, no matter what. That is what my last 10,000 miles were.
I am data driven, and the only data that exists states the problem is real, but in my mind, very low risk.
Go have fun!
And silver is the most unique color, not many on the road.
Thanks Brad. Will be test driving one soon. Then I need to sell the vehicle it replaces.

I put some lights on the front.

Running lights turn on with headlights. And the sun only shines when the high beams are on and EXT5 is switched on.
By far the best looking lights to replace the OEM driving lights. They look factory yet have greatly increased light output. I will be installing these on my Grenadier soon. I do not plan to tie them to the high beams. Just wired to Ext 5 so they can be turned on whenever I like.

I agree. They look almost stock.

My thoughts- not advice or commentary- are that I like having a simple on/off for my aux lights. My motorcycle has a set of aux lights that may burn the paint off oncoming vehicles. I've never really tested it in that manner, but still. The easy and fast way to enable/disable them is the common switch that I am most comfortable using, that after many years of driving and riding it has become automatic... That is the high beam switch. And I can't imagine a time that I would use these lights where having the high beams on wouldn't matter anyway.

I bought a handful of Deutsch connectors, built a pigtail for the headlight and use those circuits to activate the relay and the running lights. It's all piggy-backed onto the car without cutting a wire.

Building Deutsch pigtails is the only way to go and I purchased a Deutsch crimper last year to make it easy. I can imagine a use case where only the Triple-R lights are turned on without actually using the OEM headlamps. This is the only reason I would not link the driving lights and the high beams. Otherwise yes it would be nonsensical to use the low beams in combination with the Triple-Rs.
