I think it was DaveB who posted the map of Western Hemisphere Dealerships, with the Comment on The Falkland Islands (Las Islas Malvinas for the Argentinians who tried to take it, with bad results!) having one.

This might be "strange to those who do not know the very fundamental reason for that dealership, as well described in the following article. But the article does raise one stumbling block, besides the passion for the "old" Landie. And that is cost!

Strange place to live but really points out why they need a simple robust 4WD that is easy to fix.
