Hello. I left my mates house today. Went toot toot and waved goodbye. Then later in the afternoon went to leave another friend, hit the red button and nothing!

So since it’s dark and cold, instead of heading outside with a multimeter, i thought I’d just ask the question- “has anyone had their toot toot horn fail and was there an easy fix?”

Thanks
Sean

I’d start here at FU13:

Thanks for the info gents.
I did wash it for the first time, but no water blaster.
I’ll start with the fuse thanks.
When I lock the car I still get a toot.

The fuse was fine.
Maybe computer related. When it worked there almost seemed to be a small delay making it hard to send Morse code on it. (A hangover from my old job 😁). As if the horn works thru a bus rather than just a relay.
All the other buttons on that side around it work ok.

I took the headlight out to access the horn.
There is no voltage coming into the horn when the toot button is pressed, however I confirmed that the toot horn operates when locking the car. So the horn itself and wiring to it is ok but the toot button is not triggering the small horn.
I think I’ll need to wait for the manual. Failing that back to the shop
