The Real Grenadier (and I'm meaning the pub!!)

So this this is the website for the 'pub' that allegedly everything came from. If the story is true then it's pretty cool. But if it isn't then its still a pretty cool place to visit  in Belgravia (its tiny inside by the way and the front doors are really small). I've spent some time here in various states of sobriety and the place is a worthy addition to any trip to this part of London.

On our list for next visit to London. Was reading up on the pub’s history; interesting place. The menus look quite good as well. And as long as I can get a Lagavulin then I’m a happy camper.

Trust me there are plenty of single malts behind the bar. Its a great little pub in a secluded side street. Great in both summer and winter, when it's cold the open fire really is cozy. It gets pretty busy though so if you're looking to eat, I'd recommend booking.

If you're into traditional Real Ale then the selection is pretty good as well, and before the bemoaners chime in, no it is not served warm.....
