Is this amount of play normal?

The short video is with the engine off and the steering wheel being turned left, right, then back again.

I've have several recirculating ball equipped vehicles over the years, but can't remember one with this much play.

My 2024 Grenadier has a similar amount of play. My 2006 Jeep Wrangler has a tighter steering box. If I were 100% positive a replacement box would not have any play I would happily pay for a swap. But I suspect a replacement could be just as bad. Frustratingly, I have driven multiple loaners with basically zero play so it definitely is not all of them.
