I have taken my spare wheel on and off a few times to facilitate putting a bike carrier on the hitch. No big deal, a couple of minutes work.
That was until the head of the torx bolts rounded. The last time I barely got them off using a vice grips.
To put them back on I welded on nuts .
Id recommend checking that you can open yours, before you have to!!
