It’s definitely pretending to be a Grenadier. Looks like a decent truck in good shape, I’d certainly entertain it as daily driver

Ha Ha! I've had folks say "Nice restoration! What year is it?" thinking it's an old Defender. Then (perhaps unfortunately for them) I get to tell them the whole back story on the Grenadier.
(BTW, I used to have a '97 Discovery (for over 20 years) and loved it until I had to fix something darn near every time I drove and wasn't sure if I'd even make it home. I DO have a 69 Series IIa SWB pick-up which gets even more attention than the Grenadier...!)

Yesterday, I had a chap approaching me, saying that my car was the nicest Defender he had ever seen. He could barely believe when I told him that the car was not a Defender but a Grenadier
