So, knowing what you know, would you buy it again?

Nothing against this forum, but that benefit can be found across most platforms with any kind of enthusiast base (Toyota/Land Rover. Etc), and even many with no enthusiasts base.. LOL

I'd like to agree but I don't frequent many (if any) others as I haven't found the various enthusiast forums particularly diverse. Just my experience. My lack of varied relatable interests is probably to blame so that's on me. (ex: I have never visited a fishing forum but I used to throw flies 100+ days a year.)

Here there was almost two years of discussion before the product was available. A lot of unrelated subjects came up and it's an international forum where the US membership wasn't dominant.

It's that 2+ years of reduction over a low heat, waiting for deliveries to commence that has added the piquance to what would otherwise be just another car forum. Little hat tip there to acknowledge the French DNA in our vehicles 🇫🇷

Special dishonorable mention goes to @Krabby for his unsuccessful attempt to stir up the Aussies with false Fosters claims 😤 🍻

We all like a stereotype joke, helps with the understanding of our differences

IDK....
I dont like driveshaft issues. I would have liked to lift my truck but have to hold off.
Maybe I would have bought a very low mile solid axle last gen G Wagon.
I love the truck so hopefully the driveshaft issue can be sorted out.

Sorry. Was at a work function. It was an international think tank get together and we were encouraged to bring a beverage that symbolizes our nation. I’m not a big drinker but am a big Coca Cola fan so I brought a 6 pack of bottles along. The Japanese rep brought saki, there was an Italian gent who showed up with some strong ass grappa, the French woman was droning on about how Champagne isn’t champagne if it isn’t from … blah, blah .. Or should I say bleu, bleu…

And guess who shows up fashionably late - wearing thongs, sunnies and a big hat? Some Aussie dude with a case of Fosters! The big cans too - like 50 ozers. You can’t make this stuff up.

Wait, a dude was wearing a thong and a hat??🤓

Oh yes you can! Photo or it didn't happen.
Wait. I bet it was a private function with no cameras permitted, bleu, bleu, bleu...

I bet you took a 6 pack of Zero, drank someone else's full strength, then took the Zero home. Shameless but it fits the narrative 😉

Yup. I’d do it again, mostly because I knew the issues going in -- so when they popped up I wasn’t too surprised and had a plan to deal with them. Having a local dealer open 7 months after purchase has also helped with this answer.

Yes, I would. I take a lot of pride in owning the Grenadier...it’s not another cookie-cutter SUV pretending to be a 4x4. I like its uniqueness and capability. While I could see myself in a Jeep (lot of stuff to make it your own), I’d worry more about domestic build quality. The Grenadier feels solid, and its low-RPM torque and surefooted handling continue to impress me when overlanding. The steering quirks and turning radius don’t bother me, and Rusnak Ineos Pasadena has been great to work with. I wish CARB would let me install a Long Range America extended fuel tank (Boo California).

I share your sentiments about the appeal of it not being cookie cutter. I haven’t spent much time in newer Jeeps, just had a rental Wrangler for a couple hundred mile work trip last year and my buddy has one with 35s (that I don’t think has ever seen the dirt) that I sat in. Even just sitting in it you can tell it’s made cheap. Almost like they expect everything, including the doors, to be removed and replaced. They can afford poor build quality because the people buying them expect to work on them and customize. I really don’t think Grenadiers and JK/JL Jeeps are even in the same category.

It’s a yes from me but I would be way more mindful of the steering pump noise when choosing whether to commit to a particular vehicle or not.

I bought mine second hand recently and didn’t notice the steering pump on the test drive. I asked the seller about it and he said it had never been an issue. But now i own it, it’s loud. It seems like such a small issue - a noise from a steering pump - but it is something that detracts from my driving experience every time I get in it.

I do love the car though!

No. They have failed to deliver on too many aspects. All of the 'yes, but...' answers here are in the same boat.

Too many issues, and the lack of support behind it. The real kicker is that these are not vehicles built for purpose. They can't be field fixed. Too many custom parts, too many compromises.

to answer the question in the title of the thread. NO I would not buy it again. If I would have never bought then if I had looked at the
way the rear seats do NOT fold down flat. I actually use the thing to go out not run around in the mall parking lot. By the rear seat not
folding flat there is a lot of wasted flat and you can not sleep in it unless you make a platform. My jeep rubicon folds flat it is not hard
to engineer. And don't even ask about the stupid nanny features like the auto stop, speed gong. And not being able to reset maintenace
is stupid. My jeep can, my tacoma can, the buick can. It is a 3 day trip to the nearest dealer to reset. Also having to go to the dealer to
redo the computer instead of a flash drive of plugging your laptop into is stupid engineering.
