So, knowing what you know, would you buy it again?

As above. I REALLY want one. Test driven a few times. Its perfect on the outside but the points in this quote hold me back. Here in Oz it gets hot in summer and the HVAC needs to work effectively and I dont want to be concerned about driveline issues. Im hoping ineos makes the fixes and I'll put my hard earnt cash down tomorrow
As long as the aircon is gassed you don't need to worry about the HVAC, it's having variations between full heat and cold. Once your faulty reservoirs have been changed (or not if ok), then you will get mid temperatures, you just have to spend time learning it's quirks.

It takes 100 positives to drown a negative. I'm offering 500 positives.

As much I love mine. My wife would not let be buy another because of the amount of time and effort I spend on it. She doesn’t enjoy driving it. The flaws define character and it’s certainly brought me closer to appreciate it yet at the same time hate it when things do go wrong and the dealer is so far away. The reason why I haven’t sold it yet is there is simply nothing quite like it. Well there is, and it’s a Suzuki Jimny which I also own. The Grenadier is basically a grown up version of it.

If I didn’t have the 5 year warranty it would be long gone because it would not make financial sense as I’m semi retired.

Also with the way how the government is squeezing every last drop of money out of motorists who enjoy driving a big diesel isn’t looking rosy (what’s going on in Cardiff). I’m dreading future road tax hikes.

I have ever only bought the same vehicle from the same brand unless it’s absolutely perfect but then life would be boring wouldn’t it.

I would not buy my truck again, I love the truck not all the issues and quirks. INEOS doesn't hear their buyers. The only thing they did in 2 years was patch up ADAS. Very sad indeed.

Wife doesn't like driving mine but is happyish to do so on the motorway. Quirks are what makes life interesting, as long as they are fixable. Wife also says I'm always spending money on my Grenadier, which is only partially true but it is the only vehicle I have repeatedly spent money on that wasn't for repairs. I think this shows a love of the vehicle and if it weren't not for the way the UK is heading it would be something I would buy again if necessary. I would have looked at a replacement one as and when i required a replacement and the major issues were rectified to a satisfactory standard. Again, due to the UK government my plans are to keep the vehicle as long as is feasibly possible.
