Last weekend, while I was improving my "bed solution" and "side table" I heard something broke and some parts falling in the smaller rear door.
Therefore I dismounted the panel and saw this (where I pushed the vertical axle back in place in the white part):
With my hand and a magnet i could recuperate the other pieces that fell down, a plastic piece, a spring and a ball:
Probably the axle did - due to vibrations - slide up bit by bit till it went out of the white plastic piece. After a lot of efforts, and some trial and error and some colson tapes to compress the lower spring and a trick with bolts and nuts for compressing the upper one, I could place everything back in place, but it is clear that the upper plastic piece is damaged! These springs are really very stiff.
This didn't work with the plier, but I could place some colson straps to keep the spring compressed.
This is a temporary repair. I will have to see with my workshop if they replace the mechanism "under warranty", because the upper white part is clearly damaged.
