Hi,
I am looking to buy a shackle hitch that fits the hitch receiver tube of my Grenadier.
There are many kinds, but I don't know which one will fit my Grenadier due to my lack of experience.
Please give me some good information.
I won't be towing a trailer anytime soon, but it's a useful tool if I ever need to rescue someone or be rescued.
Also, is there a way to know what the hitch receiver tube size of my Grenadier is?
Thanks a lot !

Depending on where you live in the world you either need a 50 mm or a 2 inch unit. If you live in a place that still uses Imperial units simply search 2 inch recovery shackle and find something that suits your needs. I rather liked this one.

Yes, I want something like this, but is it okay if it's not inserted deep enough
and is sticking out a lot?
And what is the diameter of the pin in mm?

if you invest in a quality recovery point / shackle you might want to secure it with a quality locking hitch pin. The Class III hitch pin is 5/8". 5/8" is 15.88 mm but these are generally purpose built and interchangable.

My recovery point was longer than I liked and stuck out further than I preferred so I had a local machine shop cut it down. The Grenadier receiver is fairly shallow, you might want to compare your hitch depth with the recovery point you are considering.
