Who are the sellers going to be in Australia?
What kind of service support will I get in Outback Australia?
That’s why I originally bought a Toyota
Outback support

Hi. Check out this thread and follow the instructions to download the GRUNT map. It has many identified dealers and service places in Oz. GRUNT

Peterg19, the Ineos Australia website has the information you are after (I’ve provided the link below), as well as the information Krabby has provided above is a source.

It contains a map with all Aust dealer and servicing network (at this time).

Outback ‘service’: oil filter and oil change.

Big stuff should be done before any significant trip, no matter what the vehicle manufacturer.

Go to the website and have a look under Service and Maintenance
Then remember Toyota sells 200,000 vehicles a year in Australia so of course they are going to have a lot more dealers than Ineos who plan to sell 1,000 a year

What about breakdown stuff?

Thanks
What about breakdown stuff?
The smart operators carry spare CV joints , filters , belts , hoses , coat hangers and duct tape. And know how to fix stuff if it's muddy , dusty or rainy or dark..
I thought Toyotas are reliable and don't break down? Is this a myth?

Everything breaks down if you push it hard enough or don’t look after it. Just some makes and models more readily than others. 😉

Precisely. Key to expedition planning in my experience is not to wonder what might fail but to consider what will fail first and most often.
Noting that it’s totally reasonable that folks don’t want their daily driver to require equivalent (mental) preparedness.

This forum is becoming a worryingly comprehensive survey of Australian culture.
There’s a petition going around to have the bin chicken (I call them dump birds, as in hanging around rubbish dumps) as the official mascot for the 2032 Olympic Games to be held in Brisvegas (Brisbane).
The toffs are against that though - clearly they don’t have enuff culcha. 😉😂
