Safari windows rattling in high wind

Has anyone else experienced this? At about 80mph in high wind my safari windows started jumping up and down. Looks like maybe wind was getting under the seals outside? There was no wind coming into the cabin though.

Had to reduce the video quality a bit to upload on the forum but hopefully you can see it.

I often sit at 120 kmh indicated (114 kmh GPS) which is 75 MPH and zero movement from my Safari windows.
Fastest I have gone, and looked at speedo, was 147 kmh indicated (91 MPH) and also zero movement on safari windows.
They rattle at 100 kmh plus when open.

No, mine shut tight, however I get a buzzing sound when open at speed only from the driver side.

Hmm just me then. Positive pressure inside the cabin definitely sounds plausible but I didn't notice any gusts inside. The only other thing I can think of is that my rooftop tent caused some kind of wind tunnel effect, maybe even a zone of negative pressure intermittently outside the windows? Is that even possible? I'm not a physicist :D

No issues like that even at 100 mph on the Autobahn 🛣️ in sometimes windy north of Germany…

Maybe post a pic of the roof of your truck so the backyard physicists can speculate about vortices and negative pressure.

Or maybe just a fault that needs fixing.

I drive often at 132 km/h (127 km/h on GPS or 79 mph) and even faster in Germany: no problem. Probably some tightening of the latch could help, but I looked at mine, and no way to tighten it at first sight

I would take them out. Reseat the seals and hinges. Push down safari window on hinge side. Clear any debris from the channels. Hinge side is probably not flush. Maybe.
