I did mine last summer here in Sydney — same problem, blinding sun through the safari roof. I tried a suction blind from Amazon, hated how it looked and functioned. I bit the bullet and went to a car window tinting Sydney business that specializes in 4WDs and campers. They custom-cut a darker film that blends well with the factory tint. Works a treat and no more eye-searing glare. I'd love to see someone design a track-mounted blind though.
