Hi Guys Im starting to get a lot of rust on my front bumper - no beach driving and no salt on the road here in Queensland - I do wash the car from time to time but surely not enough to make it RUST!

Im suspect when they attached the bull bar' (factory bar by the way) they drilled holes though the steel and didn't recoat the fresh exposed steel or even spray an bit of cold gal on.
OR a bigger issue - not sue yet - it will be the subject of a warranty claim I'm sure - but something to watch for

Regards,

Steve

Your theory of drilling and not coating is probably correct, so few bother (not meaning IA). Could also be the bull-bars if they are made be the same Chinese company that makes the side steps which I have had replaced under warranty.
