Rok_Dr’s Exceedingly Unofficial Owner’s Manual Supplement

Unlike previous versions, I have been unable to download this new version to “Books” on my iPad. Has there been a change to the proper process?

I just did it.

- Click the link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1tHF4zR33OClUZ5_meLRXotzbrY_vd5sv/view?usp=sharing

- Upper right corner click the 3 dots “•••”

- Drop-down should open, select: “Download”

- You should see a brief pop-up saying it’s preparing to export and then a mini window open giving you apps/locations to send the file

- Starting with the row that starts with Apps. Mine starts with Airdrop, Mail, Messages (But yours could look different), scroll to the right and select, “More”

- Under, “Suggestions” you should see iBooks when you scroll down.

Thank you for finding that. Looks like I didn't scroll down far enough.

Since Christmas I’ve been slowly compiling an off-line document which I can print and put in my glove box that captures information missing from the owner’s manual and other useful bits and pieces.

I’ve now got it to a point where its ready to share with forum members. You can download the new PDF using the following link:

Use link at top of page now

The forum has been a great source of information so thank you all for your efforts. Posts I’ve drawn information from are referenced (if you need further info) and members acknowledged in the document.

I’ll update the link in this post and post an alert in the thread when I update the document. Any feedback, corrections or even additions are welcome. Happy for you to share provided you make acknowledgement to this thread.

If you print it out either use an A5 page and shrink to fit or an A4 booklet in adobe reader print settings..

May you find it useful.

Cheers

Steve
Thank you! You are a wonder!

Regarding “Car Wash mode”, this is only needed if the driver is exiting the car. If someone does not open the door, and rides through a car wash, there’s no need to do anything other than put it in neutral and don’t open the door. But if exiting the car, there’s an easier way we use daily. Buckle the seat belt behind you, put car in neutral, leave the car running, get out. If the seatbelt is on the car stays in neutral.
