rear door sensor

Hi, Im Randal in Nashville, TN. I have a 2024 ineos grenadeir trial master. I keep having a message that my rear doors are not closed. I get constant dings and noises that prevent my wife from even riding in my vehicle. It also seems to be draining my battery. I have adjusted both doors as muck as I can. Should I modify the stops to allow the doors to close tighter? My dealership in Nashville is absolutely no help and refuse to even acknowledge the problem. thanks for any help. R WW

Tell the dealer he needs to fix it or you will Lemon Law the vehicle. It is not rocket science, just a simple adjustment that he should be doing under the warranty.

I had the Grenadier wrapped... Now my back door sensors aren't connecting. Slamming the doors shut didn't make a difference. The sensors are the little cones? Hoping they just need t be aligned. Thoughts.

Hello, I had this issue as well, rear door alert would come on when encountering rough terrain or the door was closed too gently. I added a 1/16 washer behind each of the three bolts on the upper latch on the larger rear door. (My washers were too large but it is what I had around the garage and fit fine)Since then we have not had any issues with the rear door sensor.
