I’m a complete electrical idiot. I’m looking to run some gear with the above specs 600W max draw, average 250W. Looking to run for 4 hours, maybe 8? I assume I’d need to run the engine, at least intermittently, or are there batteries that would be able to do this? It’s for a computer type application with a PC PSU if that matters. Want to put it in the back, plugged into a US household plug outlet.
 
Got it. Running a 250W average load for hours needs a big separate battery. A large lithium power station or a custom dual-battery setup with a pure sine wave inverter is the way to go. This isn't a simple plug-and-play job; you should get it professionally installed to be safe.

250w constant load will draw 20A per hour from your battery.

The battery is 110A, so in theory it will be flat in 5 hours. On practice you can only use half the capacity, so without the engine running you will have a maximum of 2.5 hours.

Running the engine at idle for several hours is a bad idea, so yes you will need a second battery.

Your best option is a second 200A LiFePO4 battery (you can run these to zero) which will give you 10 hours. Maybe a 300A.

You would need a high capacity DCDC charger to charge the battery in the car, a suitable inverter and of course a load of wire.
