It rained here really hard today and my rain gutters were overflowing waterfall style over both front doors. After it stopped I took a look to see what was going on and the rain gutter cap drains are getting clogged with debris. So I pulled and cleaned them and think I see a potential issue with water retention in the lock seem that could lead to issues with corrosion down the road. I am going to put this on the remove clean and inspect list from now on.

I mentioned this around 2 years ago. Yes, it should be checked and properly cleaned from time to time, depending upon where the vehicle is stored and where it goes.

check the rears as well, i took it apart to get to the pressure vents and found the gutter was pretty caked, mine is garaged so was surprised with the build up.
