Hi everyone.
As many will be aware Annie had a serious issue with the two small radiators / coolers behind the front bumper caused by excessive vibration on rough roads.
Prior to my trip to Iceland in a couple of months I've been trying to get a solution via Ineos but they only seem able to provide the bracket for the RHS and can't advise or help about the LHS. Which sort of assumes that the same part cant be used both sides and therefore they don't really have a solution within the parts bin.
I've therefore been in touch with a very reputable after-market supplier to provide a solution (which would then be available to everyone) - but can I just check with members that the solution needs to be something that stops the radiator and its lower mount from flexing downwards such that the retaining 'pins' at the top of the radiator remain in place and within the rubber mounts? The solution therefore being a brace that connects to the underside of the bracket and is fixed to the chassis.
Something like....?
Thoughts? Are we on the right track?
Many thanks.
