I have plates already on my diffs and am considering getting plates for the rest of the vehicle. I live in Arizona though and wonder if in the summer the plates would obstruct airflow over the cooling fins on the outside of the transfer case and transmission housings. Has anyone with skid plates noticed any changes in operating temps after installing plates? Or is this a non-issue?
