Had my Quartermaster out on a station in Georgetown on the weekend. The cows loved the car, and licked evey body panel, and window they could reach. Cattle are well fed, and proper minerals added to licks. Curious as to why they do this.

This happens to me regularly. Animals are curious. Sometimes they are reflected in the windows or the paintwork. Perhaps they recognise conspecifics. I've noticed that when I touch the vehicle with sweaty hands, they seem to lick the salt off. That doesn't really bother me. Although I always have in mind that they damage the vehicle with their hooves or horns if they get scared. My Defender had a hole in the door after one of the girls from the Highlands pressed a horn into it.

Hey Mudnut, curious about your step. Have you just folded chequer plate over the original, or is that an aftermarket complete unit?
They are folded steps I had lying around from a Discovery 1. Clamped some gal pipe onto my rock sliders, and bolted them on to it. In my build ia what I did.

I watched a reel where a cow learnt to disconnect an electric fence , top and bottom. So be careful 😁

Something new, cattle are over the taste of Toyotas.
