Based in North Florida and Tennessee, originally from the UK, where I drove a 90's Land Rover D90 for a while - which was a lot of fun. Currently driving a fully loaded Mercedes GLS580 but we are lemon-lawing it due to repeated ECU problems. This is my 3rd GLS in 15 years, and they all have been unreliable and expensive to own (but beyond comfortable and powerful).

So, looking at a Grenadier, go low-tech for a change, but trepidacious about losing all my comforts and the powerful V8 under the hood.

The main thing that is driving us towards the Ineos is that with the Merc, in 15 years, most of it won't work anymore - with the Ineos, it seems low tech enough to survive - other than the main screen which kind of worries me.. I still don't understand why manufacturers don't simply add a mount, an ODBC2 gateway, and use an app on an ipad...

I have several powerful cars (Turbo S, big block Camaro, etc) for reference and I’ve been impressed with the B58 in the Grenny. Not once have thought that the vehicle was underpowered. It’s not AMG G63 acceleration but it’s built for a different role.
