Our friends over at project wild earth experienced an almost show stopping event recently. Here we talk a little about it, and how the Global Grenadier community can come together to support the Priors and help get them back up and running.

Here is their go fund me page for you to be able to help out......

Urgent Call to Action: Let's Keep the 'Project Wild Earth' Adventure Alive!

I just checked the donation page for Project Wild Earth, and frankly, they got a mountain to climb and we get to help these incredible adventurers.

I chipped in $100 early on, back when it was mostly friends and family supporting them. Now, it's time for our community to step up!

Here's my challenge to you: Be the first person to donate $50 or more and reply to this thread with your contribution, and I'll match it, up to $100! This isn't about tax write-offs for me; it's about investing in shared experiences and seeing this amazing journey continue. I encourage others to do the same.

Their videos are a constant source of inspiration, showing us what life beyond the daily grind can be. The editing is professional and the family is the real deal, not some Hollywood version of reality.

I may not know Matt and his family personally, but their unwavering spirit and the sheer joy they bring through their adventures have captivated me. They have walked along the brink of disaster, and as a community, we have the power to firmly pull them back and ensure their incredible journey continues.

Don't just viewer – be a part of their story! Let's make this happen! Go, go, go!

A great cause. I donated in GBP early on. At GBP to AUD rates I'm definitely a shareholder in Aussie peso value. Conservation projects aside, @Matt P and Leah are building memories for their kids. Let's help them finish the journey.

Chipped in also ( a week or so ago).
They are truly inspiring, a trip I won't be able to do so I always watch their videos.
No words for the shots and editing...
I hope NatGeo reaches out to them just like they do to other YouTubers.

Thanks so much for this Stu! We really appreciate it and thank you so much for your support and for rallying the troops! 🙏 I can’t thank everyone in this amazing community enough who has supported us. It’s been a little overwhelming, we’re extremely grateful and will of course pay it forward when the time comes.

I see Stu mentioned our long range tank
In the latest Grenadier Works episode. This was the plan from day one but it just wasn’t available when we departed. We got one of the first in the world but unfortunately this happened just before we got it fitted. This was actually the very last time we would’ve had to use the fuel bladders.. we just hope everyone can learn from this and thinks about their own setup so this doesn’t happen again. We’ve been contacted by many people all over the world who have had issues with carrying fuel, leakages and even fires.. This includes all containers in all positions on their vehicle, no solution is 100%.

Thank you!! We really appreciate it.🙏

we need to shame their insurance company for not paying out! and also Giant Loop!
Insurance for these trips is very complex. If you want to be insured for everything, in all eventualities, in all the countries we’d like to go to, it’s cost prohibitive. That’s if you can even find someone that will cover your vehicle. It can be very dependant on where the vehicle is registered, your nationality etc. We were insured legally in Kyrgyzstan but not to cover all eventualities. You can buy insurance on the border or in major cities of the respective country. This is what the vast majority of overlanders do and the risk we take unfortunately.

As for Giant Loop. You can read our main thread about the situation there. Bottom line they’ve stonewalled as after confirming receipt of all the information about what happened. We can only assume on legal advice. Very sad…

Thanks so much for supporting us during this time. As for Nat Geo, I think there’s a long way to go for that! 😂 We’ll continue to do our best though. 🙏
