I have been quoted £3500 for PPF for the two sides of the car (so excluding the back, bonnet and roof). This is for a 7 year guarantee film (12 years would be £4000). Does this sound about right? Also, any thoughts on if it is worth if for protection from off roading/green laning? The self heaving properties of the film don’t last forever, so will I just end up with scratches showing up on the film. It is a lot of money if it just end up looking scratched up.
Thoughts welcome!

If you’re only interested in the sides, checkout bushwrapz (https://www.bushwrapz.com/). You can apply it yourself and replace every 5 years.

I’ll likely go this route unless I can find a reasonable price to wrap the whole vehicle.

If you are down very narrow lanes, you are going to be pulling the film away just like paint! Unless it's teflon or something like that baked on.

Same thing for sliding into a fence post or grinding down the v-lane in Strada, when they are is equal weight on the side of the roof and the driver side wheel.

So I would read the guarantee really carefully. What exactly are they saying they will remedy etc.

And if you intend to just bash around Salisbury plains or the wider Yorkshire lanes, lakes district etc, I won't bother. The odd scratch will likely buff off.

( Unsure about the price £3500 is a hefty chunk of change... How much is a polisher and your time :) )
