Pan American Highway progress updates

Sure, you can see the location below, where I’m using a cloth and capillary action to remove the last of the water.
There are plugs at both the forward and rear end of the sill.
My passenger side is your drivers side, being RHD. Port side.
Although the corresponding sill is the same (I found no sign of moisture in that one).

Any ideas on how the water is getting into the sill? Through the rubber grommets?

We had the scuttle removed in the course of the warranty repair.
I’m thinking it may not be correctly reinstalled. Looks fine to the eye but…
It’s a bit of a pfaff to remove in the field so I’m thinking to treat the symptom only for the time being.

We also have the safari window seal TSB outstanding and see leaks from the passenger side safari window.
That water pools in the passenger footwell and I don’t know of a path through to the sill from there, but I guess that’s another possibility…
