So a question to those 6 who have already signed their contract.

Where did you get your manual from and where is it on the website?

I do not believe it even exists yet, I certainly have found no trace of it. I did consider this and decided that it would be easy to prove if I ever needed to, that this clause was unreasonable at the time of signing as it’s completion was impossible. Given this, I signed it anyway.

That is a good question. My contract does not contain this passage. I assume that I will receive the documents, in whatever form, when they are handed over.

From which document do you have this screenshot?

It's page 5, under Terms & Conditions.

How different? Do you have the same Clause 12 heading, are you just missing clause 12.3?

It is no wonder that different countries, and therefore different laws, require different contracts, I dare say.

It further more raises the question, who has actually read his contract. 🤔
I read everything I sign, of course. Who knows what I would have received otherwise.o_O

I even read my insurance contracts and those are made to be to annoying to read them…
In this comparison the IA contract has been refreshing to read😀

The question is: other than not buying the Grenadier - is there a choice?

I have the same problem with the T&Cs of banks, insurance companies and the like. Life seems impossible anymore without a pact with the devil. That's one of the reasons I don't have Paypal, for example: There is a choice. Yet.

However, I don't see Ineos as the devil - although their lawyers are probably not much different from those of banks and insurance companies ...

New here, so apologies but I am only just getting up to speed on what's been discussed.

I did query this clause with the customer service people in November and they escalated it to the contracts team. No response however and I am still waiting on my revised contract to sign. My legal guy says this is a "mistake clause" however signing it knowing it is in error would be essentially accepting whatever is in the manual when it finally gets published. I was suprised to find the clause in the contract at all since Ineos were being pretty clear on the fact that they were still making tweaks to the vehicle design details prior to going into full production. I tried crossing the clause out on my original contract then doing the manual sign & upload option, but they didn't like that and insisted on issuing a new electronic one.
